Council Hearing: Transportation & Environment

Friday 6/13 at 9am
Location: Hybrid, Wilson Building & virtual

Special project fees that fund Anacostia River stewardship are under threat. The budget proposes to take the 5¢ bag fee and the stormwater fee that residents pay as part of their water bills and sweeps these fees into the city’s general funds, rather than keeping them earmarked for waterway stewardship and education. Register to testify at the hearing or submit your testimony in writing HERE
